Happy Easter! by Samy Odin

Publication date : 4 April 2012

Collecting dolls and playthings brings, thankfully, some happy moments as simple as this: gather various objects for a thematic display to celebrate a special day or a particular season. I exhort everyone to experience that simple, childish pleasure, yet so rewarding and aesthetically stimulating! Sometimes objects that we forgot in our collections come back to life, briefly, to appear in a different way. Please, take the time to take your marvels out of your cabinets, out your drawers, put them together and look at them differently in order to tell a story. This is what we have been doing at the Musée de la Poupée-Paris for, now, 18 years!
