Educational tours for children and families Educational tours are given Vanessa Brunel especially for children from 5 and over and their parents. These tours begin by handling dolls' parts from various periods and continue with the visit of the permanent rooms of the museum. You will then visit the exhibit on your own.

Workshop for children " Making of a dress for a princess paper doll " Children from 4 to 10 years old will inspire from the amazing doll dresses to create by cutting and drawing, a princess dress for a paper doll. Children will cut and make up the doll that they will then dress with a puffy or flare dress with puff or pagoda sleeves.

Story telling sessions for children : "The toy world" A real "doll" will lead you through stories in the wonderful world of toys. Get comfortable, open your ears and imagine that the dolls are alive ! 3 differents stories are given for children from 3 years old and their parents.

A workshop to make a a dress for a Barbie doll is given for children from 5 to 12. Every young fashion designer will go back with her own Barbie dressed in a unique outfit !

Workshop "cloth clown" / only during birthday parties A workshop to make a cloth clown is given for children from 5 to 12. Stuffing, sewing and drawing are made by children who will create a very own clown.

Workshop " Perfumed dollies" / only during birthday parties A workshop linking dolls and the smell sense is given for children from 4 to 12 years old. Children will go back with 2 dollies to put in a wardrobe. They will decorate, stuff, perfume after having recognized various smells.

Discovery of dolls "Yes you can touch" ! Samy Odin, director of the museum will hold dolls discovery sessions with handling of objects, dolls parts, wigs, eyes... you will then go on visiting the museum on your own thanks to your new knowledge. |

Programs on French doll makers from 1940 to 1959 SEASON 2010/2011 Samy Odin, director of the museum and doll specialist, will give a second series of programs on French doll makers from 1940 to 1959. These 2 hours sessions will enable you to study dolls, from head to toes, and to understand their place in each doll makers' history. |
